TYPES OF NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTINGS-NDT TYPES (OVERVIEW)
                    NDT is the process of find the discontinuity inside the materials so that we can control or reduce the manufacturing or process cost. NDT plays major role to find characteristic in the material. There are large number of NDT processes used in this day which is depend on type of material and the process to be performed.
The list of some types of NDT testing in short shown below,
  1. Liquid Penetration Testing. (LPT)
  2. Magnetic Particle Testing. (MT)
  3. Radiography Testing. (RT)
  4. Ultrasonic Testing. (UT)
  5. Visual Testing (VT)
  6. Leak Testing (LT)
  7. Laser Testing Methods (LM)
  8. Electromagnetic Testing (ET) 
                          Various types of NDT tastings perform on given job as per requirements. NDT is cover large range of industrial activity and day by day NDT methods developed.
ASME SECTION V gives the procedures for some NDT testing like (PT, UT, MPT, RT etc). The NDT techniques required to calibrate during specific time so that work property in that given time. NDT process in involve all kind of equipment required to calibrate and also the calibration certificate before performed on the job. Also in this field Level 2, level 3 certification for technician mandatory as per requirements.
